16+ Can Book To Get Vaccinated
Have you had yours yet? Everybody aged 16 and over is now eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine and you don't need an appointment.
There are drop-ins at Bedford Heights on Manton Lane, and at local pharmacies

2nd Vaccine Dose
If you had your first Covid vaccination on or before 16 August, you're now due for your second dose.
Getting both doses maximises protection from the vaccine - half a jab is half a job!
Vaccine drop ins are available in Bedford Borough for both first and second doses, with no appointment necessary. For more information and for opening times visit
Flu and COVID vaccinations
It's easy for us to pass on COVID-19 or flu viruses without knowing. This winter there are two essential vaccines you'll need to protect yourself and your loved ones.

Boosters and Third Doses
People are being invited to book an appointment for their free booster vaccine. Please wait until you are contacted by the NHS who will let you know when it's your turn to book a booster
Those eligible include:
· all adults aged 50 years or over
· people who live and work in care homes
· frontline health and social care workers
· people aged 16 and over with a health condition that puts them at high risk of getting seriously ill from COVID-19
· carers aged 16 and over
· people aged 16 and over who live with someone who is more likely to get infections
You cannot attend a drop in for your booster.
